# Do StudyStash grades show anywhere?

> StudyStash is designed to strengthen learning habits and understanding - not to replace or work with formal assessment results.

#### <br />Purpose of StudyStash

* StudyStash helps students practise and apply what they’ve learned, identifying areas of strength and weakness.

* It supports **formative learning** (learning through practice), not **summative assessment** (graded performance).

* Progress or “scores” in StudyStash are indicators of engagement and knowledge recall, not formal academic achievement.

#### Relationship to Assessment

* Strong engagement in StudyStash can *contribute* to better understanding, which may support assessment outcomes.

* However, doing well in StudyStash **does not guarantee** a high mark in coursework or exams.

* Students should use it as one tool in their wider study approach - alongside lectures, readings, discussions, and feedback.

<Tip>
  **StudyStash** helps you turn what you learn into lasting understanding; the progress you make strengthens your knowledge, builds confidence, and prepares you to apply what you’ve learned in new ways.
