# Does StudyChat give the same answers to all students?

> If two students ask StudyChat the same question about the same content, the underlying references and citations used to generate the answer won’t vary.

While the exact wording may differ, the substance of the answer will not.

* Yes, we use Generative AI to power StudyChat conversations.

* This means responses are generated dynamically based on the uploaded materials.
